4/12/2023 0 Comments Dog ear trainer![]() Linda Barber has always had a dog in her life but did not become active in showing until she started chauffeuring her mother to different shows in Maryland. Her training philosophy is guided by doing the best for you and your pet and Kim is dedicated to improving the relationship between dogs and their people by education and well guided training. Kim is also a member of APDT (Association of Professional Dog Trainers) and the AKC. Most recently she is a registered CGC evaluator and offers classes and training for Puppies, Trick dogs and Canine Good Citizen. She is the developer of the “Hide-A-Pinch” prong collar and “Harmony Pet Products.” The owner and operator of Wayside Kennel Gear since 1994, Kim manufactures and sells some very unique pet products. She is a past President of the Myrtle Beach Kennel Club and very active with the AKC. Since moving to Myrtle Beach 22 years ago most of her dog training has been with her own animals and friends. As years progressed at Bayshore she mentored, assisted and trained several classes in Pet and Competition Obedience training and participated and competed in Agility. It was here she trained her first dog, a Standard Poodle named Max. ![]() She got her start as a member of Bayshore Companion Dog Training Club in Red Bank, New Jersey. She specializes in Puppy Development and her style is balanced and guided by the dogs personality and ability to learn. Kim Petrone has been working and training dogs for over 35 years.
